Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe-boxes and the Good News of God’s love. Please prepare shoeboxes for this special operation. Shoe boxes and detailed information is located in the foyer. Collection week is November 15th –22nd.
Support Our Troops – Thank you to all of the folks who pulled together for US Marine Charles Quintana and his unit serving in Afghanistan. Those that signed up for the 25 care packages, the boxes are here; inside is the information you need for filling it. Just return the package to the church by August 21st. We will send out the care packages. If you did not get an opportunity to sign up for a soldier your monetary donation would help with the cost of postage. If you have any questions see Mrs. Bacino she is heading up this project. Thank you all very much for your participation. A list of items is provided here:
- Thank you for your participation with the Soldier’s care packages. We shipped 25 flat rate boxes to our servicemen and one big box for Charlie Quintana. They are due to arrive in Afghanistan the second week in September. The cost for shipping was $368.00 from the $410 we collected.

We were able to put together 5 wonderful Thanksgiving baskets.

Lifesaver’s Ministry – has a request for the urgent need of diapers sizes 3 to 6 and baby clothes sizes 3 months to 12 years. They also are in need of funds due to being under budget $7220.00. Please pray for God’s provisions and for Mrs. Beth Allen as she directs all the volunteers that handle the urgent phones calls.
