Children’s Ministries

At Dover First Baptist, we love partnering with families to help children grow in their understanding of God’s Word and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Our Kids Ministries provide a safe, joyful, and Christ-centered environment where children can learn, ask questions, and build lasting friendships.

Sunday School meets each Sunday at 10 AM and offers age-appropriate Bible teaching designed to help children understand Scripture and apply it to their daily lives.

During the morning service at 11 AM, children are invited to participate in Junior Church, where they receive engaging, Bible-based teaching created especially for their age group.

On Friday nights at 6:30 PM, children can join us for AWASA, an exciting program focused on Scripture memory, Bible lessons, games, and fun! AWASA helps kids hide God’s Word in their hearts while building strong Christian character and friendships.

Choir and Music Ministry

Our Choir and Music Ministry exists to glorify God through Christ-honoring music and to lead the congregation in heartfelt worship. Through biblically rich songs and uplifting harmonies, the choir seeks to encourage believers and proclaim the truth of God’s Word in song.

The choir is made up of faithful members who love the Lord and desire to use their musical gifts for His glory. Whether singing during regular worship services or special seasonal programs, our goal is always to point hearts toward Jesus Christ.

We welcome those who have a heart for worship and a desire to serve through music to prayerfully consider joining us. If you play an instrument, we also warmly welcome you to use your talents in serving alongside our music ministry.

Teen Ministry

We are excited to be launching our Teen Ministry with a vision to help students grow in their faith, build strong friendships, and stand confidently on God’s Word in today’s world. Our desire is to create a Christ-centered environment where teens are encouraged, challenged, and supported as they grow in their walk with the Lord.

Throughout the year, we plan to host fun group outings to places like mini golf, bowling, and other activities that foster fellowship and lasting friendships. We also look forward to an annual Youth Rally featuring guest speakers, engaging preaching, and exciting activities designed to inspire and strengthen young hearts.

If you have a teen—or know one—who would benefit from being part of something meaningful, we warmly invite you to join us as this ministry grows.
