The Greatest Revival to Come
Introduction:
A Wisconsin company called the Three Square Market is now offering employees implantable chips that will open doors, buy snacks, log in to computers, and use office equipment like copy machines. Participating employees will have the chips, implanted between their thumb and forefinger. It’s an extension of the long-running implantable RFID chip. In 2014, the world RFID market was worth $8.89 billion and yet the market value is expected to rise to $18.68 billion by 2026. Around 50 people are supposedly getting the optional implants. The day is coming and may be soon upon the world of a global market where the chip is the only means where people will be able to buy and sell. You will not be able to buy or sell without the mark of the beast-anti Christ. —- Revelation 13:16, 17
And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
When wickedness dominates the world under the anti-Christ people will live in danger of becoming anesthetized to his potential power and pull. The wrath of God; Satan and man will be unleashed on planet earth. Food supplies will be exhausted and destroyed from the many disasters that occur from the seal, trumpet, thunder and bowl judgements. Revelation 6:5-9
Folks this is why we need Revival, the Bible foretells us of Armageddon. That day is coming where upon there will be great judgement upon the earth. We need many witnesses of the gospel truth so millions are saved from seven years of catastrophes. That is what revival can do and the by product will be many saved from a tribulation the world has never know…
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. … Matthew 24:21
I The Judgement is to Come.
1. Today, the church has the commission to bear witness of Christ and the love of God. Likewise, even during the most dreadful time in the history of the world, the Great Tribulation, God will not leave the world without His wit¬ness. Your testimony, your witness, your love of God will be a witness to those left behind. They will wake up and know you were not crazy; you were God’s witness. The question today is, “do you care, do you give a rats tooth about family, neighbors, co-workers and friends, who will be left behind? Many of them will be without a clue of what is happening. Your witness today may save them in that future tomorrow. Let God revive within you today that compassion and boldness in your soul. The rapture will happen!
2. There is just no telling what kind of disasters will occur when millions of people working in critically important jobs instantly vanish in the rapture. But this will only be the beginning for those who are left behind. So overwhelmed and distressed will people become that men will have heart failure and others will commit suicide. The world will quickly become a very different place in the aftermath of the rapture. Those left behind will experience the horrible chaos that will result after the Christian community is gone. The trauma will be the greatest where believers are rapture from various means of transportation such as flight – rail and personal automobiles. The Bible states categorically that men’s heart will fail them for fear.
LK 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; [26] Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
3. The world’s environment will be changed. Martial law will be enforced to control evil elements. Governments will tumble and international disorder will pave the way for the charismatic leader and deceiver known as the anti- Christ. You will not be able to buy or sell without the mark of the beast-anti Christ.
4. The world will be changed economically and environmentally. Natural disasters will destroy 1/3 of marine life and prices will rise on sea-foods or become difficult to purchase. Revelation 8:7-11, 1/3 vegetation and trees and 1/3 water will be undrinkable. Jesus Christ foretold us over 2000 years ago that in latter days these would be earthquakes in many places. Those left behind will experience the worst earthquakes ever – Rev. 16:18 and verse 21 tells of 100lbs hail- stones.
Our time will not allow for the many other plaques and torments. But be it noted” it’ll be so bad men will seek death and not find it. Rev. 9:6
The world powers and religions will change. It will be a One World Government… The anti-Christ’s power will become worldwide by the middle of the seven-year tribulation. Rev. 13:7. He will receive global worship. However in the middle of all this there will be a brief time out.
II. Time Out from the Judgment (Vv1:4-8)
1. Chapter 7 is a “time out” before the seventh seal is open an unsettling stillness and calm comes upon the entire earth. Like a pause in a storm and yet one sees the dark and the threatening clouds. John’s vision is still from heaven. He is high above the earth and can see four angels standing at the four – corners of the earth. God restrains His judgment for a short time until His elect have been sealed. The cry of the angel, “Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads (7:3). These angels hold back the winds of adversity, judgement and wrath while God sends his messengers to seal the 144.000.
2. In 7:4 John gives us the number of those sealed-144,000 and their identifi¬cation from all the tribes of the children of Israel. These 144,000 Jews should be taken literally because John goes into great detail to reveal ex¬actly who they are, even mentioning the number from each tribe in verses 5-8. 12,000 from each of the 12 tribes comprise the 144,000. It is the time of Jacobs trouble and we note this as his 12 sons are mentioned here. When the church is raptured from the earth, God will again work through the Jews to be a witness to the world.
3. The sealing of the 144,000 in Revelation 7:4 is God preparing his witness to build upon the witness of His church and this will spark the greatest revival and souls ever saved…
III. The Innumerable Multitude During Judgement (7:9-17)
1. The people saved during the Great Tribulation will be from all over the world, including Jews and Gentiles, as verse 9 says…. a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands. These will be converts to Christ. There is no doubt as to whom this multitude is ac¬cording to these verses 13-14 John ask concerning this group and this is an innumerable multitude of martyred saints. This is the greatest revival of all times. It is yet to come. History has recorded some great Revivals. They tell of God’s mercy!
2. In verses 10-12, this redeemed martyred multitude … cried with a loud voice … and gave praise to God and to the Lamb for their salvation. Also, all the angels around the throne of God, the elders and the four beasts fell before the throne of God on their faces and worshipped Him. It is very probable this innumerable multitude was saved through the evangel¬istic efforts of the 144,000 Jews during the tribulation period. These were sold out for Christ!!
3. Here are the saints who have come out of the Tribulation, the great one. Erchomai, literally means, “who are coming out.” It could be translated, “the ones coming out.” It is a present, continuous, durative participle. It shows a prolonged process, the ones who are coming out.
These are a uniquely separate group of believers who are coming out of this time of Tribulation.
4. The innumerable multitude in Revelation 7 will serve God day and night in his temple … (7:15). These hosts of redeemed individuals are in the immediate presence of God in His temple, and yet they are without fear and are fully ac¬cepted by a holy God. Also, we see in this verse that we will not just sit around in heaven and strum on a harp will serve him as God’s Temple servants as described in Ezekiel chapters 40-48. Every saint will serve, we as Christ Bride serve as His administers noted in Revelation chapter 1:6 & 5:7 and whereas the 144, 000 will serve as the bodyguards of the bride and the church according to Revelation 14:4.
5. The phrase in verse 15, he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell = SKENOO among them, in Greek says, “He will spread his tabernacle (skin not o) over them.” In other words, the Lamb will spread a divine canopy over them for their protection. They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more. These conditions describe the earthly experiences of those saved during the Great Tribula¬tion, lack of food and water and intense heat. Death will come mainly by martyrdom and the scriptures indicate the means will be beheading as told in in Revelation in 20:4. Last, in verse 17 we find that … the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them.
Conclusion:
The question then is; are you going to “flee” from the commission of God, or are you going to share your faith with others? While the world struggles to validate their beliefs on more than what they see on television, Christians have the trustworthy Scriptures to base their beliefs and message on. When you witness to others, you could be changing their future forever. Are you praying for revival, both in your own life and in the lives of others?
