Easter Sunrise Service – is April 8th at the rear of South Dover Cemetery just look for the old rugged cross. Pray for a beautiful morning. Bring something to share at our Sunrise breakfast. Sunrise according to the U.S. Naval Observatory is 6:25 AM. See you there.
National Day of Prayer- is the first Thursday in May. This year we want to challenge everyone to join this special service to pray for the many ills of our country and economy. America needs prayer. We meet at 7 PM around the flag at the Wingdale Firehouse. Our Wednesday’s prayer group will meet on Thursday.
CHRISTMAS DECORATING – After the morning service next week we’d like to decorate and trim the Christmas tree for our Church. Please volunteer for this event I know it will be a blessing to you as well as our church.
HOLIDAY FOOD BASKETS – We are collecting foods to help needy families in this uncertain economy. You can place can and dry goods in the box in the foyer. These items will be given to help the poor and to make a few Christmas baskets for the church Community. Please bring items from list by December 18th. Thank you.
POINSETTIAS – always decorate the Church nicely during Christmas. You can place them in our Church in memory of loved ones. Please use the sign-up sheet on the rear table.
CANDLELIGHT SERVICE – Wednesday Night December 21st in lieu of our regular service we will have a special Candlelight Service and Christmas gathering to celebrate Christmas with a warm and inspiring service. The service will be over promptly in one hour.
